Dr. Madelyne Salo leads the Manhattan Beach Dental Center and is also the co-founder of Salo & Salo, a full-service, multi-specialty dental practice in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, which she leads with her father, Dr. Dean Salo.

Dr. Madelyne Salo is a Los Angeles native and second-generation dentist. She came to appreciate dentistry through hands-on experience at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she honed her ability to conduct independent research. She continued to gain experience by attending the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. While at dental school, Dr. Madelyne was the president of Alpha Omega International Dental Society. She was awarded an outstanding achievement award for both clinical and academic strengths in implant dentistry, as well as a first-place award for Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society for outstanding clinical presentation in implant dentistry.

Dr. Madelyne’s practice serves as a one-stop, full-service practice for every aspect of dental care. She is experienced in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, pediatrics and orthodontics. Her checkups are thorough and comprehensive, with a special emphasis on detecting oral cancer in its earliest stages. She also uses cutting-edge technologies like 3D scanners, printers, probiotics and state-of-the-art video equipment. Dr. Madelyne strives to nurture strong, long-term relationships with each individual. She and her team make special considerations to ensure that each patient — including individuals with dental anxiety — have everything they need to feel comfortable and confident while getting optimal results. She provides access to a range of resources that empower her patients to take charge of their dental health on their own terms.

Some of Dr. Madelyne’s hobbies include creating intricate jewelry and stained-glass art. She also actively participates in her community as a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society. She participates in many volunteer opportunities, including educating children on the importance of dentistry and dental care.

Dr. Madelyne is a current member of the American Dental Association®, OKU Honor Society, California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, International Team for Implantology and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
